OUR STORY
Wes Gauley was born and raised in Williams Lake and started his career in construction at a young age learning from Local Legends like Terry Cross of Woodmaster Construction and Steve Ackroid of Concept Contracting. Wes spent early years in construction and moved to a career as an independent property claims Adjuster where he developed a knowledge of the ins and outs of the insurance claims process. Wanting to get back to building things Wes started out as a sole proprietorship roughly 13 years ago and the company has grown and was incorporated 3 years ago.
It has taken many years to get here but we are so thankful and lucky for the awesome crew of skilled tradesmen who are also good people with families in the community we serve.
We are experts in insurance related repairs and reconstruction with intimate knowledge of what it takes to work with you and your insurer to put things back together.
We offer all general construction services with a focus on quality results.

Wes Gauley
owner / project manager
Wes brings over 25 years experience handling small to large and complex projects to the company. Wes was born and raised in Williams Lake and started his career in construction at a young age learning from Local Legends like Terry Cross of Wood master Construction and Steve Ackroid of Concept Contracting. Wes spent early years in construction and moved to a career as an independent property claims Adjuster where he developed a knowledge of the ins and outs of the insurance claims process. Tyler Trampleasure
Crew boss
Tyler is our Crew Boss and the only thing busier than Tyler on a job site is Tyler at home where he is a Dad to five busy kids.
Tyler has always had a strong interest in woodworking, which started in his high school shop classes and grew into a career in the trades. In 2011, Tyler began his carpentry apprenticeship in Vancouver with a large contractor, where he gained experience across a wide range of commercial, industrial, and residential projects. Over the years, Tyler developed skills in concrete formwork, framing, and finishing, and takes pride in producing quality work.
Curtis Mann
Carpenter
Curts passion for carpentry started in grade 8 shop class, by senior year he built an electric guitar from scratch and was hooked on building things.
Curt is a Red Seal Carpenter and brings with him 12 years of construction experience in everything from small residential jobs to large scale commercial construction. Curt loves turning ideas into reality and takes pride in his craftsmanship skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
Kerri Rankin
Carpenter apprentice level 3
Kerri joined the BLD PRO team in early 2025 bringing experience in timber framing and general carpentry. Kerri has been a welcomed member of the team and brings a good sense of humour and fits right into the crew.
From a young age, Kerri enjoyed assisting her Dad with various projects and home renovations, including building numerous forts in the backyard. Her interest in woodworking grew during high school shop class. Shortly after graduating, Kerri enrolled in the carpentry foundation program in Williams Lake and has been an apprentice learning the skills to complete her Red Seal.
Kerri is now looking forward to her fourth year of carpentry courses and looking towards completing her Red Seal. We are excited for Kerri and about the opportunities this career path holds for her.
